According to the ASEAN Security, Peace and Order Committee and Emergency Response and Response Organization (CSPOEPR), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will often be disturbed at the 31st summit.

He also said that President Duterte has received specific instructions to deal with the minimum public disturbance during the summit and at the same time respond to all possible security threats.
“In the security preparation for cybercrime and cyberattacks, we work with the information experts of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and the Philippine National Police (PNP),” he added.
Cuy said that despite the unrestricted communication, all security personnel should avoid using their gadget gadgets at work unless they report any serious incidents.
He added: “We would like to remind our security personnel to prohibit the use of mobile phones while ASEAN is on duty, because such actions will be dealt with accordingly.”
On the other hand, Napoleon C. Taas, the commander of the ASEAN security forces, called on the public to do their part to ensure harmony and peace at the summit.
