Now almost every student in a school own their cell phones. What’s worse, cell phones have become many students’ “weapon” against their teachers. Most students are found using their cell phones to surf on the internet during a lecture; many students tend to listen to music or play video games in classroom; it frequently happens that a sudden cell phone ring during a classroom lecture often arouses distractions; or even worse that some students make use of cell phones to help them cheat in an exam…. It has been reported that a new phenomenon “cyber bullying” refers to that students electronically torment others via text messaging and social networks, when they should be paying attention to lectures.
A female teacher told reporters that the school did install a 4G jammer in the dormitory building, which was an act of internal management and was a good thing. He said that most of the time is now smartphones, and that many students spend the night in bed playing an all-nighter, and the next day classes are very unspiritual and affect learning. After installing the jammer, the students no longer stay up to play with the phone, and the second day will be better.
Prisons use drone jammers to fight crime
Many detainees continue to organize their illegal drug trades from inside prison walls. A cell phone is an essential means for the detainee to keep the drug organization running and closely controlled. By contacting visitors before they arrive, prisoners can arrange for a transfer of drugs and drug paraphernalia, allowing them to continue the same illegal habit that placed them in custody. Frequently, the family endures harassment from its incarcerated relative, demanding bail when the family recognizes the relative is better served remaining in custody.
Rather than jamming a drone, the Army Cyber Institute at West Point built an antenna-and-computer rifle that fed information into an open channel of an unlocked Parrot drone. This allowed the cyber rifle to send an override code to the Parrot drone, crashing it, without violating FCC and FAA rules on cell phone jammer. At a training exercise this summer, West Point cadets encountered a drone on a simulated raid, and had to use the cyber-rifle to knock it out of the sky. The consequence, for a team that failed to plan around the drone, was an artillery strike that took out the entire machine gun section of the platoon.
Since a classroom usually is not of very large area, then a portable mobile phone jammer is recommended, which is quite convenient to carry and put into use– What you need to do is simply press the button to switch it on. Surely, you needn’t worry about an emergency that someone needs to make a phone call, they can just walk out the classroom and make the call without disrupting others. Or you can just switch off the jammer unit when needed.
