Does cell phone really fixed the bug with their WiFi in smartphones?

Hi people! I know for sure that there was a security flaw in the WiFi system of HTC smartphones so I am asking you as tech experts do they fixed it?

GPS is even used to provide accurate time information for some computerized financial market transactions.
And other GPS navigation devices used by ships and light aircraft could also be affected by jammers. In 2009, the Newark airport in the United States found that some of its GPS systems suffered from repeated interference.

Yet there is another thing for you to think about. If HTC did such thing on quiet, then other mobile phone carriers could do the same, hiding some security issues which can already present in their smartphones like WiFi vulnerability of the HTC devices. So the only thing you can do is protect yourself from hackers stealing your data through WiFi connection of your smartphone.

Researchers believe that most GPS jammers are used to prevent these devices from working.
“A GPS satellite does not emit more power than a car headlight, and with that it has to illuminate half the surface of the Earth,” Professor David Last, former president of the Institute, told the BBC Royal Navigation. “A jammer of very, very low power that broadcasts on the same radio frequency as the GPS will suffocate.
“Most of them are used by people who do not want their vehicles to be tracked,” he said. But scrambling technology can cause problems for other critical safety systems using GPS. In mobile and power networks, GPS satellite signals are sometimes used as a source of accurate timing information.
