Can Boston Dynamics SandFlea pose a threat to me

Hi guys! Recently I watched a video on Youtube where that amazing jumping robot made by Boston Dynamics was featured. At first I thought “Wow! That’s a cool thing!” but then I’ve started to think about it is possibly dangerous usage. Can I have some protection against it, just in case?

There are many cell phone jammers and universal cell phone jammers, such as the world’s smallest mobile phone jammer. There are even mobile phone jammers hidden in the paintings. What makes this GPS high power, cell phone, 3G signal jammer is that it is very powerful with multiple antennas to give a real working radius of 20 meters.

Although compact and easy to carry, this high-power GPS, cellular and 3G signal jammer is capable of blocking GPS signals, 3G signals and mobile phones (GSM, CDMA, DCS, PHS). With a scrambling radius of 20 meters, it blocks the cover for about 4 times the area compared to other mobile phone jammers published on jammer-shop.com.

Boston Dynamics SandFlea is a remotely controlled surveillance robot that can work for two hours and can jump up to 25 times without being recharged. Its jumping mechanism uses disposable fuel cartridges in order to function properly. It also has on-board camera that can stream real-time video to the OCU (Operator Control Unit) and take pictures. In addition it has the illumination, both visible and infrared for night operations.

The OCU of the Boston Dynamics SandFlea is the case with all necessary control tools and display for the live video from its camera. Together with the robot itself they can fit into small backpack. The jump height of SandFlea is up to 30 ft thus it can pass many obstacles and jump into the windows with nice precision. Consider that except the danger of being spied in such way there is also even bigger danger – the IED can be fit to the SandFlea that will jump into your house and detonate.
