TV camera is watching my backyard. Can you help?

Hello! Recently, the authorities started building a full scale CCTV system around our town. That is for our safety and security, they’ve said. But I’ve noticed that one of those cameras is probably watching my backyard, well it looks towards my house, so I’ve assumed that. I don’t like that and would be happy to do something about it, maybe you have and advice for me, or are able to help.

“Routine military exercises” is still the official Russian response. Yet exercises with simulated interference are just as effective. Lab tests, live exercises inside Russia, field operations in Ukraine and Syria have ensured that the Russian military knows precisely how their gps signal jammer equipment works. They do not need to disrupt and endanger the air traffic and Norwegian lives to ensure military availability.

For AC-130 crews, an enemy blocking its communications systems or data links could be particularly dangerous for US special operators and conventional support forces and innocent bystanders. Combat helicopters rely heavily on these systems to help locate and positively identify targets and then coordinate their attacks with other piloted and unmanned aircraft and joint tactical air controllers in the field.

First of all, you won’t be able to block all the CCTV cameras around your town, but the one that looks at your house must be stopped. You don’t know who may watch you and it is ok to be nervous. So, there are a couple of options, that will be able to help you. You may try to install a high-power IR LEDs, because CCTV cams are really sensitive to infrared light. So a couple of those LEDs stationed around your backyard will make the camera blind. That method was developed by scientist form Japan, that has created the glasses that block CCTV cameras.

Another option is to try to block the camera itself. We can provide you with a CCTV camera jamming device, that will block all the CCTV surveillance in 40 meters (130 feet). So, if the camera is close enough, give it a try. The problem here is that the jammer is stationary, it has bigger jamming range that portable ones, but it has no battery and it is rather big. Choose one of those ways and fight CCTV surveillance
